Abstract

It is impossible to reap the benefits of education without setting goals, just as it is futile to walk the path without setting a goal.Education is a serious process. Without which the building of individual and collective life collapses. The hard work and effort of both the individual and the society is wasted.Islam wants to see education in harmony with the spiritual heritage, ie religion. Islam strongly opposes aimless education because the consequences of such education are on both the individual and the society.Non-objective education can never create a true mysticism of collective ideas and moral values in students. According to Islam, the first and foremost goal of education is to create such people. Those who understand the Islamic ideology of life, firmly believe in this ideology and can adapt their lives according to this ideology.

Islam does not believe in knowledge for the sake of knowledge. He considers education not a destination but a means to an end. According to Islam, the second major purpose of education, in fact, is related to the first purpose, which is to provide the means of enlightenment and guidance in order to attain the knowledge and pleasure of God. If education makes the student realize that he is the caliph of God on earth and he has to live within the limits set by God and become a manifestation of divine attributes. It is in the nature of man to learn and teach knowledge. The guidance of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was fulfilled and he became a great teacher. Due to his teachings, humanity was enlightened with the light of guidance. Due to the demise of the Prophet, this responsibility is now entrusted to the teachers of the Muslim Ummah. In this context, the role of teachers of the ummah as a teacher is of great importance. It is the duty of the teacher to train the students in such a way that they can be successful in worldly and otherworldly lives. This will be effective teaching because that is the purpose of human creation.
