Author Guideline

Journal of Computational Sciences and Application (JCSA) agrees to accept manuscripts prepared in accordance with the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Computing Journals.

Manuscripts are accepted for consideration if neither the article nor any of its contents have been published or submitted elsewhere. For submission of manuscript, authors will register on our web page. For certification of originality of work, an undertaking form will be signed by all the authors and will be submitted along with the manuscript, specimen of which is available online in the downloads section.  No more than 6 names will be listed under the title; other names will appear in a footnote. The manuscript should be created in Times new Roman style with 12 font size.

You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send it to the journal for review. Please check the relevant section in this Guide for Authors for more details.

  • Ensure that the following items are present:
  • One author has been designated as the corresponding author with the followingcontact details:
    •  E-mail address 
    • Full postal address
  • Manuscript:
    • Include keywords
    • All figures (include relevant captions)
    • All tables (including titles, descriptions, and footnotes)
    • Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided
    • Indicate clearly if color should be used for any figures in print Graphical Abstracts / Highlights files (where applicable) Supplemental files (where applicable
  • Further considerations
    • The manuscript has been 'spell checked'and 'grammar checked'
    • All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa
    • A competing interest’s statement is provided, even if the authors have no competing interests to declare
    • Referee suggestions and contact details provided, based on journal requirements
    • Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet)
    • Make sure that issues about publication ethics, research ethics, copyright, authorship, figure   formats, data, and references format have been appropriately considered
    • Ensure that all authors have approved the content of the submitted manuscript.
  1. Manuscript Preparation Checklist

Two main article types are considered for publication in this journal:
a) Research Articles: Original research manuscripts. This journal considers all original research manuscripts provided that the work reports scientifically sound experiments based on novel ideas. Authors should not unnecessarily divide their work into several related manuscripts, although short Communications of preliminary, but significant results will be considered. The worth and impact of the study will be considered during a peer review process.

b) Reviews:These articles must provide concise and precise updates on the latest
progress in a particular research area. Systematic reviews should follow the PRISMA

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission's compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

· General Considerations

 Research manuscripts should comprise:

a). Front matter: Title, Author list, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords

b) Research manuscript sections:Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions (optional).

c) Back matter:Supplementary Materials, Acknowledgments, Author Contributions, Conflicts of Interest, References.
