Plagiarism Policy

The University maintains a strict stance against all forms of plagiarism.

• The university commits to a zero-tolerance approach towards plagiarism.
• All anti-plagiarism policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will be embraced and rigorously enforced throughout the university. HEC plagiarism policy guideline is provided in the below link:

• Academic integrity will be fostered through comprehensive training and the dissemination of documents, including the researchers' code of conduct.
• Turnitin is designated as the official software for detecting plagiarism in texts written in languages compatible with the software. Only officially provided Turnitin accounts will be used for plagiarism checks, exclusively for work conducted within the University of Lahore.
• It is strictly prohibited for faculty, students, and researchers to use personal email IDs for any official correspondence.
• Any breach of this policy document will result in disciplinary action.
