This comprehensive research explores the intricate relationship between population growth, unemployment, and their collective impact on Pakistan's economy across various political regimes. Through regression analyses, use dummy variables long run and short run, each regime's economic dynamics are assessed, revealing significant explanatory power, especially in the contexts of Bhutto's first regime, Benazir Bhutto's regime, Nawaz Sharif's tenure, Musharraf's regime, Asif Ali Zardari's era, and Imran Khan's leadership. The study emphasizes the critical interplay of demographic factors, educational spending, unemployment rates, and foreign direct investment, offering nuanced insights into Pakistan's economic landscape. The research contributes to the existing literature by providing a holistic view of the relationship between population growth, unemployment, and economic changes, acknowledging the impacts of specific policies, and proposing avenues for future policy interventions.
