Peer Review Policy
LBS Journal of Marketing and Analytics (LBS-JOMA) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and objectivity of published research. The journal is committed to maintaining a fair and transparent review system.
- Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo a preliminary assessment by the editorial team to check for scope alignment, formatting, originality (plagiarism screening), and adherence to ethical guidelines. Manuscripts failing to meet basic standards may be desk-rejected.
- Double-Blind Peer Review
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
- Authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to prevent bias.
- Reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity, and contribution to the field.
- Review Timeline & Decisions
- Reviewers are given 3–4 weeks to submit their evaluations.
- The possible editorial decisions are:
- Accept (with or without minor revisions)
- Revise and Resubmit (major revisions required)
- Reject (unsuitable for publication)
- Revision Process
Authors receiving revision requests must submit their revised manuscript within 2–3 weeks along with a detailed response to reviewers’ comments. Failure to meet deadlines may lead to withdrawal from consideration.
- Ethical Considerations
- Reviewers must declare conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality.
- The journal adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to handle ethical concerns, including plagiarism and data falsification.
LBS-JOMA reserves the right to make final publication decisions. The peer review process may be updated periodically to align with best practices.
