Checklist for Journal Publication

  1. General Manuscript Preparation

✅ The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
✅ The title is clear, concise, and relevant to the study.
✅ The abstract (150-250 words) summarizes objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.
✅ Keywords (4-6) are included for indexing purposes.
✅ The manuscript follows the journal’s prescribed structure (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion).

  1. Formatting Requirements

✅ The manuscript is written in APA referencing style.
✅ Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
✅ Page numbers and line numbers are included for easy review.
✅ Word limit complies with journal requirements (4,000-7,000 words), excluding references

  1. Referencing and Citations

✅ All in-text citations are formatted correctly as per the required style.
✅ The reference list is complete and formatted as per the journal guidelines.
✅ DOIs or URLs are provided for all online sources where applicable.
✅ The manuscript is free from plagiarism and properly cited.

  1. Figures, Tables, and Illustrations

✅ Figures and tables are numbered and titled clearly.
✅ High-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI) are submitted in JPEG, PNG or TIFF formats
✅ Tables and figures are referenced in the text and placed appropriately or provided separately as per journal guidelines.
✅ Permissions for copyrighted material are obtained and submitted.

  1. Ethical Considerations

✅ All authors have contributed significantly and are listed correctly.
✅ Funding sources and conflicts of interest are disclosed.
✅ Ethical approval for human/animal studies is obtained and mentioned.
✅ Participant consent (if applicable) is stated clearly.
✅ The manuscript adheres to COPE, ICMJE, or relevant ethical standards.

  1. Submission and Review Process

✅ The manuscript is uploaded in the required format (Word/PDF).
✅ A cover letter is included, addressing the journal editor and highlighting the study’s significance.
✅ Suggested reviewers (if required) are provided.
✅ All supplementary materials (data sets, appendices) are attached if needed.
✅ Compliance with Open Access policies (if applicable) is checked.

  1. Post-Submission

✅ The corresponding author’s email and contact details are correct.
✅ Proofreading is done for grammar, clarity, and readability.
✅ Responses to reviewer comments (if resubmitting) are clear and well-documented.
✅ Copyright transfer or licensing agreement is signed (if required)
