Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Author information to be submitted as a separate for the blind review to take place smoothly

Publication Ethics Guideline
- Ensure Originality:
- Submit only original work that has not been published elsewhere.
- Properly cite and reference all sources used in the research.
- Avoid Plagiarism:
- Use plagiarism detection tools to ensure the manuscript is free of copied content.
- Paraphrase and attribute ideas from other works appropriately.
- Report Data Accurately:
- Present data truthfully and without manipulation.
- Provide sufficient detail to allow replication of the study.
- Disclose Funding Sources:
- Acknowledge all funding sources and their role in the research.
- Respect Human and Animal Rights:
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards for research involving human participants or animals.
- Obtain necessary approvals from institutional review boards (IRBs) or ethics committees.
Ethical Publishing
- Do Not Fabricate or Falsify Data: Do not manipulate or invent data to support hypotheses or conclusions
- Do Not Submit to Multiple Journals: Do not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
Handling Authorship Disputes: In case of disputes over authorship, the journal encourages open communication among all parties. If unresolved, the journal may request documentation of contributions or involve the authors' institutions to mediate.
Consequences of Ethical Violations
- Manuscripts found to violate ethical guidelines will be rejected or retracted.
- Authors may be barred from submitting to LBS Journals in the future.
- Serious violations may be reported to the authors' institutions or professional bodies.
By adhering to these guidelines, authors contribute to the integrity and reputation of LBS Journals and the broader academic community. These principles ensure that published research is credible, transparent, and ethically sound.
